Village Peddler Fudge Sunday

Take 8 oz of your favorite Village Peddler fudge and put it in a microwaveable bowl.  Add 1 tablespoon of water.  Microwave on high in 30 sec intervals until well melted and blended.  Be sure to stir after each 30 seconds.  Pour over your favorite ice cream.  Top with whip cream and enjoy.  For a thinner sauce add more water.  For a thicker sauce add less water. 


Vermont Apple Crisp

6 cups sliced apples

1 cup flour

1 cup sugar

1 teaspoon baking powder

¾ teaspoon salt

1 unbeaten egg

1/3 cup melted butter

dash cinnamon

Place sliced apples in a greased baking dish.  In a separate bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.  Add egg and mix together with a fork until crumbly.   Pour mixture over apples.  Drizzle with melted utter and sprinkle with cinnamon.  Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
